人間には何かを作り出す素晴らしさがあるのと同時に、さまざまなものを無為に壊してしまう愚かしさをも含有していて。作り出すのには時間をかけるのに、一瞬で壊してしまう。差別とは人間の持つ卑しい欲の表出したもっとも恥ずかしむべき行為だと思います。桜は桜、梅は梅。それでいいのに。
自然の中に自生する赤紫の菊。花のひとつひとつは小宇宙であるという見地からすると、花は常に静かに消滅を繰り返しつつ、生の最中には人間の愚かしさを眺めているような気がします。そしてそんな花の生態も、人間の愚かしさは破壊しようとしていること、本当に空しくさえ思っています。
